Today on Beyonce's Vevo channel they showed the Aug 19th show at Roseland .. My mother and I was able to attend (she won tickets off the radio) We stood out in that rain which had everybody soaked and got a decent spot inside and it was all worth it. To see her live is an experience in itself. We had a ball then we found out they were recording the show and the lady had the camera in our faces lol, I thought we might make it on the dvd but not really thinking it would happen. This evening we watched it together jammed like we where there remembered the faces we seen, then seen ourselves and started screaming like 15 year old's lol. Another memory me and my mom can share. She finally put it out and I'm more hyped now because I get to put it on repeat that beat has a hold on me. Days like this makes it worth it, trust its been days I want to give up, but I want to give a thanks to all that come to my blog, that like or comment or spread the word.

Then it was the BET Music Matters Event at Drom to support the homie Wordspit, It's never a time where I tell you he didn't do his thang and this performance was NO different , s|o to the band and Ms. Coco Sarai (Still need that Raining In My Room record!!) but check out the performance (Via King)
R.I.P. to Smoking Joe Frazier and Heavy D .
If you don't know who Joe Frazier, he was a Undisputed Heavyweight Champ back in the late 60's mid 70's. He's known mainly for his fight with Muhammad Ali in 1975. He was diagnosed with liver cancer in Sept and died Nov 7 . R.I.P. everytime I hear his name I think of the Ali movie and how Ali was talking junk before the fight lol.
Heavy D paved the way for smooth plus size brothers like Biggie and Rick Ross. Heavy D showed that he can get down and boogie just like everybody else. He was a major player in the game. Even tho kids today may not be able to see that, me growing up listening to him I can appreciate what he gave to the game. It's sad he's gone because we was just jamming to him on the BET awards a few weeks back. He was 44, he will be missed check out some classics

Been listening to Trey Songz newest mixtapes OOO child .. if you haven't heard it PLEASE go and get it (check the last post to get it) .. Loving it . I was worried that Trey was gonna put out just hip-hop songs and just a little bit of r&b, but he gave me the perfect balance. Anticipation 2 and Lemmeholdatbeat 2 was def needed since there was no album out this year .Trey is not done feeding the streets the Inevitable EP comes out Nov. 28th with the single Top Of The World, plus the concert the in NY on the 25th, I wasn't able to get tickets .. Tickets came out on a non pay week for me but one my Trey Fam girls is going so she will have pictures on deck..But enjoy the Top Of The World from Trey now. This song is just about him giving back and wishing he could take everybody with him to the top, even tho he know he can't, Hey it be like that sometimes.
