May 2nd was a great  evening, people came together at Club Lucky in Brooklyn to network and mingle. I was invited to co-host and cover the event, and I had a blast I interviewed some wonderful people.

Old Skool Joints: Kris Kross

It's only right that Kris Kross is the old skool joint of the day. Yesterday news broke that Chris Kelly (Daddy Mac) of the famous group was found dead in his Atlanta apartment. The situation is still being investigated. Sad RIP  and I just was watching them perform at the So So Def 20 Year Anniversary Concert =(.

Janelle giving you life in black and white, and you get to she her in a different light with the 60's wig and outfit, and Ms Badu and that ass hunny (I gotta get me one like her). Nothing bad to say about this video I love the track the visual just made me love it more.

The Jams In My Headphones: Fantastia, Drake, The Dream & More

I know I been missing for a little bit (New Job Heyyyy) BUT the last week I definitely been adding new songs to my phone and I just been jamming

First up is Fantasia ooo honey when I heard Without Me ft Kelly Rowland and Missy I was like yessss Fantasia, I know I read some things about her recently her and baby father not together and her issue with Jet (Story Here) so it feels good to get back to the music. The fact that Missy is on this track is enough to make me download it. The song basically should become a anthem to the ex boyfriends that got put on to some new iish by the ex girl. Take a listen

Pray 4 Boston & Texas

The last week has been extremely crazy, If you been hiding under a rock somewhere there were bombings in  Boston at the Boston Marathon and Texas at Fertilizer Plant, people were killed and more injured it's scary to know that at anytime someone can drop a bookbag and walk away and explosion can go off. I just wanted to take the time to send a prayer to all of those people that were affected in any way by these horrific acts on innocent people. 

As well 

Living in New York and seeing 9-11 happen it just hits a cord to see things like this happen just brings you back to a time of feeling vulnerable, The memory will never go away but all we can do is offer our support and love.
