Yeezus Vs Born Sinner My Predictions

We have about 8 more days until the battle begins between Kanye and J. Cole. 

 My opinions are mine you don't have to like it just respect it. 

Kanye 
I think that people are going to buy Kanye's album Yeezus JUST BECAUSE it's Kanye! there is no other reason. His track record speaks volumes and because of that people are going to buy. There are no official singles only a performance of 2 tracks, no real hype on it and no damn album cover so I feel that Kanye may rocked to the top just off his status. Personally it just seems like Kanye is on another planet, from the crazy performances with face masks ect, and just watching him when he with Kim he just seems different, So idk what to expect from this album, we know that Kanye can give you life (aka give you heat on an album) but I'm just not hyped for this album as a Yeezy fan. BUT I will be listening.

Now for Jermaine, if you read this blog you should know that I break for him!!!!.. Now Cole has given great mixtapes The Come Up,Warm Up, Friday Night Lights to his debut album Cole World, so he also has a great body of work not Kanye level BUT way better than the shit you hear on the radio right now. He has the potential to be one of the top rap dudes of our generation. Now Cole world had some radio hits and Cole felt he had to give those types of records with his last album to be on the radio which was/is true (That's just how things work sighs). But now he going back to his essence, back to the therapist flow no chaser aka watered down singles, even tho I do love his single like work out and can't get enough I fell in love wit the the real fire he can spit. So for this album I'm ready for him to give that breath of fresh air that is missing right now.

NOW MY PREDICTIONS

I think Kanye will do big numbers the first week BUT the talk of the town will be J.Cole, Cole album is already number two on iTunes and that's based on pre-orders that is as of 12:03 am today, major for him since he is the underdog. Kanye got some competition. Kanye is going with a different approach by not giving the fans a feel for what's to come, so that will keep people curious more than anything, but based on the leaked album Cole has a classic according to those that have heard it already.

Beyonce Shut Down The Superbowl LITERALLY

King Bey hit the stage and SHUT IT DOWN in a 13 min show at the superbowl this year. She had everything from lights fire, video screens and a bunch of dancers, lets not forget THE DESTINY'S CHILD REUNION . Now it was rumored to happen, Michelle even said that it wasn't going to happen, but I was happy to see them all on stage. Now you can tell something happened with Michelle and Kelly's mics that they weren't as high, as well as the horns, but even with that BEY did her THANG, performing a bunch of hits, Love On Top, Independent Women , End Of Time to Halo and more. Sipping on That BRANDY!!!!!!! Two Eleven In Stores

I'm hyped for Brandy, one because I love her and I been rooting for her with this comeback its been like 4 years the time is now. Now she dropped her new album Two Eleven today and I took a hard listen, and the first reaction off it is BRANDY IS BACK damnit!!, the vocals on these songs are stronger than ever!!! I didn't skip not one song. I can relate to a few joints right now!. But instant faves are Wildest Dreams, Hardly Breathing, Do You Know What You Have?,and Slower I can name the whole album but I'm not. Something for everybody, hard hitting beats, soft vocals, strong vocals, love, heartbreak, done with you type joints. I can go on but I want you to experience it for yourself! P.S. Chris Brown is the ONLY feature you get a full BRANDY album ,your welcome.

Please go and cop this album. Now I will be buying a hard copy I need to add this to my collection. I don't buy hard copies anymore but she deserves it

In My Moment: Erykah Badu Didn't Cha Know

Now I'm a huge Badu fan!!! last night I had a moment and was playing some of the classics, like Tyrone, On & On, Bad Lady and more. OMG this is my favorite record of Roman Reloaded so I was hyped to see a visual, I didn't even know is was supposed to drop. Colorful Nicki played in her twisted dollhouse with the help of Rick Ross and Camron, Kool playful video Enjoy.

OMG I dislike this video all the way, the shaking in the video takes away from the performance and make hard to focus. Elle Varner .. I really really like this chick, something different from the Beyonce and Rihanna's of the game. I think she will go far in this game. From a little buzz with I Only Wanna Be With You ft J.Cole to a top 10 single with Refill, she dropped her debut album Perfectly Imperfect Aug 7th, hip-hop beats with a smooth r&b feel, who can be mad. This album sounds like 90's r&b. tracks like  Stop The Clock and Leaf def gives a 90's vibe with a hint of today. I can appreciate music like this. Only having one feature proves that she wanted to give you her on this project, to be honest she really don't need an album pumped with features, I feel she can stand on her own ..

Is R&B back? New from Usher, Trey Songz, Ne-Yo,and Chris Brown

Usher comes back with the new hot album Looking 4 Myself, he def have erased the line between  pop and r&b. Me personally too much pop kills r&b, I know pop sells more but r&b is where my heart is, so I can enjoy SOME pop records but not a whole album of it from an r&b artist. So Usher gives the fans r&p (rhythm and pop) without going all the way over to pop. Instant faves are Twisted ft Pharell, I Care For You, I.F.U. 2nd Round. I feel this album can and will grow on me .. I give it 3 1/2 out of 5 kisses .. What are your thoughts on this album .. Def a change from Raymond Vs Raymond.

Trey hit fans with a club banger after softening us up with Sex aint better than love and Heart Attack, he teamed up with Atlantic label mate T.I. and told us his 2 reasons for coming to the club Bitches And The Drinks straight forward right, something just to make us ladies shake in the club basically. Watch someone have a issue with him calling women bitches (old debate) Some women are just bitches accept it lol.. But watch out for that new album Chapter V coming Aug 21 peep the video for 2 reasons.

Ne-Yo is one of my favorite artist his albums don't disappoint, He is back and showing off that body of his in his new video Lazy Love. OMG lawd it gets hot in this video. Trey, Bieber and Good Bye To a Legend.

Two big names dropped videos today, Trey Songz and Justin Bieber .. Trey and Kelly Rowland teamed up for this video .. They really do look cute together no shade here the fans love them together, there might be another collabo in the future who knows. Heart Attack is the 2nd video to drop from his anticipated album Chapter 5 which should be out by the summer. Now on to a sad note. Adam MCA Yauch from the iconic group Beastie Boys has passed away today, he lost his battle with cancer he was 47. Even tho he is no longer with us he had def let his mark on the music world. Without the beastie boys music wouldn't be the same 3 white boys spitting lyrics and down with the rest of the hip-hop world back then was unheard of. Without that Eminem and many others wouldn't be respected. Beastie showed Hip-Hop is not about race but about skills and talent.. MCA will be missed.
